I've noticed that whenever I play a game that is originally in either Mandarin, Korean, or Japanese, it tends to sound a certain specific way when translated into English, but I can't really put my finger on it? It's not that the text is grammatically incorrect, and the words used aren't used weird, they aren't even what you would call 'uncommon' or 'unusual' words.
