I've been wondering if revivals actually help the progression of genres that I really enjoy (deathcore, metalcore, etc.) or if they are only placeholders for what once was? I've been deciding to take it upon myself to listen to all 176 CURRENT releases under the Flenser label... so far I have only listened to about 10 releases.
