Controversy-pros and cons of cannibalism

Everyone can agree that cannibalism is bad in a moral sense, but aside from morals is it wrong? Yes it involves offing a person, which is illegal, but could it be useful for solving world hunger? People wouldn't have trouble finding food if they ate another person.
