There was this one time when I was 12, I went to Dave & Busters. My mom wanted to make my lask week of summer worth it, and she did. There was this one game I came over there for – the piano game. (I don't know what it's called.) Having done these types of games for like... 3 years, I should be pretty decent at this. I wasn't just "decent", I got first place. From Hopeless to a Home

My grandparents insisted on me going on it. I hated it. As we walked to the ride, I felt my heart pounding out of my chest. My hands were shaking like hell. There was no other emotion inside me other than fear and stress. The building looke... » Continue Reading

New Surroundings, New (Ghostly?) Experiences.

Category: Life

I'm 9, going on 10. I'm playing Roblox on my bed, and my mom isn't home. I'm in a blank, desolate room with two windows, a mattress, and a flat-screen TV. We had just moved in. This is the first time we've moved since... ever. It's finally a break from our old home. It wasn't as cramped and seemingly enervated . It's uncomfortably silent. I sigh and stretch my arms. It's not long until t » Continue Reading
