The cold stinging made me feel grounded, like what i lived in wasn’t a nightmare, a violent imagination. It made me feel alive. Walking around and feeling goosebumps rising on my skin, the bite of cold hitting my nose, it all made me feel alive. My blood felt thick, as if i started bleeding it would drip slowly.
