Thought on Sartre

Sartre has some great works and thoughts on absurd ism  but the people he chose to support and how he kinda was fine with the torture of people in the name of principles.In the mid stages of his life Sartre  was supporting a broken system of communism (USSR). How he idolized people like Che Guevara and Stalin .
He is one of my favorite philosophers along with one of his old friends Camus   I think what broke there friend ship was ---. So as we know Sartre was a big advocate for the rad freedom of man but he was also a  Marxist. Who thought history was at the doorsteps of material historical forces leaving little room for personal autonomy which really did not fit well with Camus but the question is. 

 Is it alright to sacrifice peoples lives for the sake of principles or Is human life to important to be justified by an ideal?   

It was an ultimate war between pessimism an optimism
