Imaginary borders: an element of control. At our core, we are not hostile and quarrelsome beings.

A long time ago at the dawn of human civilization the false "gods" (with a lower case 'g') had a cunning tactic to implement control. They would impose artificial boundaries upon the land and created different languages and religions within each territory. This would keep people at odds with each other and influence peoples' views through the lens of nationality rather than embracing unity. Since then we have fell into socially constructed traps of political identity, sexual identity, gender identity, racial identity, religious identity, sports fan identity, mask identity, vaccine identity and so forth. While these identities are not necessarily detrimental on their own, the problem arises when becoming too rigid and defensive within each creed. Then we can slip into attacking those outside of your tribe or playing the victim. All of this empowers the 1% (possible bloodline descendants of the false "gods") rather than empower us. Fortunately, I believe we are gradually waking up to this manipulation. Some of us are able to see right through it. Personally I'd rather aspire to be more than what I currently am than be played for a fool. Let's choose to erase all of the borders rather than augment them. It's also important to not be too discouraged by those who are not waking up. Their time will come, if not in this lifetime then perhaps in the next. Prosperity is our destiny, at our core we are not hostile and quarrelsome beings.
