11/15/23: auditions and my birthday

hii yall!!!

my birthday was pretty good! and my dance audition went a lot better than expected! it was hard to learn the dance at first but i got the hang of it and the auditions were very nice and i didnt have to do it all alone bc we went up as groups

im not the best dancer but i was having a lot of fun and the directors like it when youre smiling and look like youre having fun, even if you get stuff wrong the important thing is confidence. 

the dance itself was harder than expected tho my middle school musicals DID NOT prepare me for this. i like dancing im just not the best at it and it took me awhile and longer than others to actually get it down

theres so many talented people in the theater program at my school but i still think i have a bit of a shot

i got mother clucker after auditions yesterday which is legit like the greatest chicken in the world its so so so good!!

my dad got me this super cute dress and skirt for my birthday too, overall it was a good day!

i dont feel any different really as a 15 year old idk i feel the same i did when i was 14 it didnt feel like a big deal like my other birthdays which honestly is fine bc im not quite too sure how to feel about getting older. i really dont wanna waste my teenage years. 

my mom texted me. i didnt answer.

i have another audition for the musical now! this time im singing so wish me luck
