winter

Quick rant

This page will be do I can finally let out the way I am. Constantly needing to "tone it down" and "act normal" is fuvking annoying and exhausting. Needing to mirror people around me to not make them uncomfortable is a chore in on it's self. So I've decided to not censor shit here. Things will probably get pretty unhinged and unsettling for you but I don't care. Don't like it? Leave. It's as simple as that. This is my small corner of the internet so I'm the ruler here.

Anyway rant aside, I LOVE winter so much

Everything cold, depressing, uncanny and gray. The "harsh conditions" causing everyone to refuse to go outside. Have you ever thought how much of absolute beauty that harshness is full of. And now I'm not talking about the "charismas/winter wonder"of  the fire places, beautiful forests, white girl winter aesthetics, the hot drinks and wool socks while solemnly looking out the window, no. I'm talking about the uncanny, harsh, cold, dark, depressing winter. The constant dark, the look of the brutalistic apartment buildings covered in the snow and gray, the completely empty parks and streets giving the most uncanny comfort. The smell of fresh, harsh cold air. And the way you can almost feel the despair of other people every time it's winter.

During winter you can see by your own eyes the nature taking back what's rightfully hers,  Even tho it may be for just a small moment every year growing smaller it is still there. Taking back what we keep destroying just by existing. Covering all the tracks of us even ever have been there under the next layer of snow. Reminding us how temporary we are in the grand scheme. Reminding us about no matter the tracks we leave they will eventually be covered, taken back as if they were never there to begin with.

Everything we do or decide on is destroying what we were given as a blessing, and we still act entitled and ungrateful. We trash, pollute, disturb wildlife, do everything in our power for our own comfort, which is why so many like summer. They can stay outside for hours just to leave a trail of trash and disturbance behind. Winter keeps those types of people away. We get a small break from humanity. No one is outside unless they have to. People refuse to leave their homes because it's too harsh outside, and that's something I truly love. No loud people, no trash left on the curb, no people in general.

I truly love and cherish winter so much.

Experiment update

Nothing has changed. There is still just a small yellowish fuzzy film on top if the salsa. I'm tempted of adding a piece of rice or yeast in to see how that changes the conditions.
