Day 36 of improving myself until I get a girlfriend

Today was just a dog day afternoon, it was hot and sweaty and I didn't want to do anything. I still got some stuff done but my power is going off at the time when I usually write this once again so I still have a few things that I have yet to do today. 

I didn't really learn much today, ive been getting these weird, 10 view videos on my YouTube recommended section and honestly I'm all for it. I watched this one video where this person was like showing off their book haul and it was only Russian literature. That's today's advice, the Russians were the best at writing end of story. 

I actually wrote a lot today and I got some responses for my LFAB piece that I'm writing. That will come out not this Friday but the one after that. I'm getting some new ideas in my head, I've got a new short story idea and I've got an idea for a review. I'm so excited and the review that I'm currently working on is coming along nicely. 

Media consumption is looking a little pathetic these days. I didn't read Fire Punch or Berserk and I didn't watch any shows. I did watch two thirds of Apocalypse Now but bear with me, that movie is like three hours long and I set up a letterboxd account where you can see the movies I watch. evilshroom, there it is.

I have yet to study and I will do so as soon as this review goes up. I've gotta go through my business studies and frankly, I just don't have the willpower to do that.

My debate practise got canceled today so I was upset but I did still manage to socialise, I spoke to someone in my class and I sat in a Cafe and made small talk this one guy there. I also ran into one of the debate coaches and told him how excited I was for debate. 

Scratch what i said about studying after this goes up, I'm gonna draw, I've gotta draw before my power goes out and I just gotta rise and grind I guess, bust out my tiny ass sketchbook and get to work. I've got fundamentals to learn.

I didn't do exercise but I did get three meals in and that's something, especially for me. Listen it was a heatwave and I couldn't find the remote for air conditioner so I was just suffering. If I worked out today, I'd get heat stroke.

Lastly, I read. I know I was reading Pride and Prejudice but I just had to put it on hold. I love it but I love Kafka more. I started reading The Metamorphosis and that book is just so sad. It's so so sad, the poor main character. I don't have much to say on the book yet other than that though. 

Thank you for reading. I've been thinking of Apocalypse Now all day and I probably chose the wrong movie to watch during a heat wave. I don't know if this is just me but does anyone love watching movies set in the cold during warm weather and movies set during heatwave when it's cold. I do. Dog Day Afternoon in the winter and Fargo in the summer. It's hot, I'm gonna go cool down or something.
