drinking

My case manager said to me that people drink because it tastes good and not to get drunk. Thats bullshit right ? I feel like the majority of people definitely drink to get drunk. I feel like it's lowk a waste of alcohol to drink without getting drunk but maybe that's jst me. Do yall drink jst cuz it tastes good ?
