no cis men allowed rave

went to a sort of rave last night, my best friends girlfriend played for like four hours(shes in seeking bust, look them up theyre amazing), it was so fucking amazing i loved it so much. i went with my other best friend elty and we went crazy we usually just hang out in the back at shows but we drank a bunch of twisted teas and danced really fucking hard, it was so fucking amazing. i went through almost a whole pack of cigarettes in one night lol between me and elty. my shoe broke at one point, but i very much just kept dancing through it. we got there at like 5:45 ish and i did simons (shes the other half of seeking bust) clown/corpse paint makeup and this girl sadie was the opener, we went to school together last year and shes one of the reasons i was sad to leave. shes the drummer in a local punk band but she was doing some solo electronic stuff tonight i loved it so much, shes an amazing artist, does a lot of photo editing too thats really awesome. the rave had a heavy no cis men allowed  rule (wasnt really enforced but it diswayed lots of creepy guys from coming) and all the performers were trans and it was just the perfect night. ive been going to less shows than i used to but i think that this has really bumped me back into it. i wish every show was like this one. me and elty stayed till like 2 am so we could sober up and i drove us home, clown paint is a bitch to wash off (bought the professional stuff bc i will probably dress up as a clown quite a bit)  my favorite costume of the night was one of the roommates that lives there was dressed as ash form fantastic mr fox their costume was so fucking awesome they said it was last minute but it did not look like it
