steve jansen shrine (FOREVER A WIP IM CRI) :33

The first time i laid my eyes on this beautiful man was on pinterest around the early quarantine period (2020-2022). This was also a time when I started discovering that there are other genres of music (rock music specifically) besides those you'd hear on the radio.

The first image i saw of this man was this. I only saw a glimpse so i thought nothing much of it as I saw no appeal, until it decided to appear on my recommended again and i pressed it, to find out that he is a member of a band called Japan. and then more images of this man came up and i thought "my goodness, this is the prettiest man ive ever seen!!". This was one of my first exposures to pretty men haha. He was the first Japan member i saw, later on was his brother, David Sylvian. I decided to listen to their music and i fell in love, especially with 'Adolescent Sex' (yes thats the name of the song...)!!

Being obsessed with this man for about a month, i finally talked to my ex-fp abt him (ah memories). She became obsessed as well. Not sure if she still likes him now.

I wont get much into summarising Steve and his career since i pretty much explained a lot on my David Sylvian shrine. Ik this decision was rather unfairful of me, Im so sorry. I will, however, explain/point out some things that were not said in my David Sylvian shrine or has nothing to do with Sylvo and Japan (the band) as compensation. Steve, i am so sorry...

Sum stuff abt Steve :3

- His real name is Stephen Ian Batt, born on the 1st of December 1959.

- He's the younger brother of David Sylvian, frontman/vocalist of Japan (the band) who is another entry in this shrines list.

- He's the drummer of Japan (the band).

- He has buck teeth. Its probably offensive that i pointed that out but i just think its cute!!

- After Japan's breakup, he made a new project with Richard Barbieri, another member of Japan (on keyboard), called The Dolphin Brothers.
