Shark of the week - Week 5 Ginger Carpetshark

Located in western Australian waters, The Ginger Carpetshark is another harmless species to humans. Getting as Large as 2.5 feet (78 cm), residing deeper in the water at around 650-800 feet deep they aren't under any direct threat by humans. Like many other sharks, they lay eggs which develop outside of the mother.
