Little rant abt torture methods from history

Hihi! The history of torture/execution methods is my hyperfix so here 

There's this torture method called something along the lines of "rats dungeon", the victim of it is locked and chained up in a dungeon right under water level, whenever the water rises, the rats that are on the shore are forced to swim into the dungeon were the person is being kept. The rats, being hungry, start to bite the person, and since they're chained up, they can do anything. The dungeon has to be completely dark, so the victim can hear the rats, but not see them. Eventually the person is taken from the dungeon, however the method later formed into an execution method where instead of taking the victim out of the dungeon, they leave the victim without resources and just let them get eaten alive

Anyways thats all Im gonna do more research on this stuff now
