TW // school shooting threat

Day 1

so apparently there was a school shooting threat to my school and the middle school next to it, and so there’s literally 40+ students being pulled from school to go home and so I text my dad cause I’m actually shaking hoping I’d get to home cause I don’t feel like dying today and my dad I don’t think believed me cause he had to check the email that was sent to all parents about the threat and he just said that “if I didn’t already have attendance problems he’d let me come home” like I’m literally shaking and terrified and my heart has dropped to my stomach and literally half the school has gone home why can’t I? It’s an actual school shooting threat what if it happens?

update: school lunch usually has no seats left if you get here late or on-time and it’s super loud and crowded well there’s so many seats open, less loud and less crowded and I mentioned this to my dad and stepmom and they said “lucky” and “ I really wish you hadn't spent so much time hiding in the bathrooms so you could have come home today”

2nd update: apparently tomorrow is the actual day the shooter is going to shoot the place up, I told my parents and dad just said “once again I wish your attendance was better” LIKE OK FUCKING PULL ME FROM SCHOOL DO YOU NOT CARE IF I LIVE OR DIE? They obviously think this is some joke which yeah it may be but I don’t want to fucking risk it

Day 2

3rd update: so hi! It’s the 2nd day that the shooter said they’d shoot the place up, the school was significantly missing a lot of students most being home, like usually the parking lot is packed when you’re late and I was late today but there was so many open spots to park, and when I got inside the building it seemed a bit packed but not near as packed or as loud as when everyone is here, and as for classes all my classes had half of the students there, like classes were literally almost empty. I also heard law enforcement has the kids who threatened to shoot up the school and they have been in jail since yesterday

Day 3

4th update: so I heard the person who threatened to shoot up my school was back in class today
