Sherlock Hound

There are few shows that I like that revolve around cannon Sherlock and Watson. But there’s one recently that I really enjoyed, and that’s Sherlock Hound. It’s basically a Sherlock Holmes show with anthropomorphic dogs. And it’s great. It’s made by studio Gibli, so that is guaranteed great animation. Oh my goodness the animation is SO GOOD. MMMMM. GAWDDDD. The character design for the men is sooo awesome and so good. For the women it’s kind of lackluster, just a girl with a dog nose and some dog ears, kinda sad and my only criticism. My favorite thing is the over dramatic english and Scottish accents (SCOTLAND YARD FOREVERRRRRR is in my head 24/7). Like they’re so funny. 

AND and and and, why did studio Gibli make SUCH a good rendition of the Sherlock Holmes series. They gave Watson a PERSONALITY (?!?!). wow crazy. Miss. Hudson is so cute too oml. the one episode where she was kidnapped by professor mortimer, she slayed, she was so funny. And they did Sherlock so good. thank god. Bro was a nice, empathetic guy. Bro solves crime, slays, explains, and goes back home to smoke with his bud.

I also actually like what they did to Professor Mortimer, making him a recurring character even though in cannon he wasn’t. But they make it work in this case, which is nice.
