i've got an insane reading list rn. crime and punishment has been bumped to the top because our ap lit class requires a classical novel of choice, but we've got a bunch of other stuff to read as well. still slowly working through and the band played on, and started reading a little bit of undoing drugs. hoping to get some more books on harm reduction eventually but first, the rest of the list. will update with an exact count of what's on our reading list when we get home from school ^_^
- crime and punishment - fyodor dostoevsky (was really hoping to read it in russian but we can't do that for ap lit.)
- and the band played on - randy shilts
- undoing drugs - maia szalavitz
- the long way to a small angry planet - becky chambers
- braiding sweetgrass - robin wall kimmerer
- transgender history - susan stryker
- the new jim crow - michelle alexander
- girl, interrupted - susanna kaysen
- how fascism works - jason stanley
- stonewall - david carter
- barred - daniel s medwed
- wing and a prayer - anders and beverly gyllenhaal
- radium girls - kate moore
on another note. just found out elections are ONE MONTH before we turn 18. this is horrific. gotta wait another 4 years to perform our civic duty. also, been thinking. wouldn't it be funny if plural people got a vote for each headmate. we could vote 20 times then. LOLOLOL
