college plans + life

woke up soooo late today. been looking at colleges. our dad wants to do a roadtrip schedule so i needed to hurry up and finish looking at stuff. the problem with college is you have to find one that has all the things you're interested in, just in case you end up changing your mind on what you want to do. i'm hoping to major in art history. but there's soooo much other cool stuff to do. it's hard to choose. hoping to at least minor in queer studies, disability studies, or slavic studies... but someone in the brain DOES want to pursue being a mortician + forensic studies and theology. you never know. i think those people are butter and angel respectively, actually. angel is technically here RIGHT NOW because we needed hymn so we could stay focused on the college list but i (levclems) am the one writing the post. our TOP college choice rn is mount holyoke and we're going to apply there early decision but if we don't get in, connecticut college and drew university are our next choices :3. they have all the stuff we're interested in + they're close to our tumblr mutual and our partner sys respectively.  so that's awesome :33333

genuinely though. all of us are SO excited for college. we NEED to get out of this house and this town before it kills us. i think everyone who has been host has written and thought about finally being free at college for FOREVER. i can't fucking wait to be able to have a mobility aid safely and to look into gender affirming care and have a binder and be able to visit our system friends. GODDD. and we'll be 18. AND FREE. dear lord. we didn't think we'd get to SIXTEEN let alone EIGHTEEN years old.

other than college we have a birthday dinner to go to today!! there's only gonna be one person there that i know AND i like and that person. well. they aren't the birthday girl. Sad! we're mostly maintaining this friendship because whoever was around most last year (certainly not me and certainly not mimi) cared about these people and it would suck if they emerged from dormancy and went What The Fuck. AND ITS A FONDUE DINNER. our autism.... i looked at the menu and it seems there's an option that's more like hotpot so PRAYING that's true or else our food sensory issues will kill us all.

i'm actually really enjoying this format of post?? waow. this is like a little diary but we get to talk to people as well :3 so awesome!! that's all for now i suppose. i've got to go eat BURGER # AMERICA. #FREEDOm. #GRILL. and catch up on the bsd manga ^_^
