John Wick 5

TW: mentions of blood and violence involving animals, dogs to be more specific

My dog was just attacked by some other dog. She looked so scared and is on her way to the vet immediately. 

I said that the first John Wick wasn't as good as people say and that I love my dog but I wouldn't do all that for her. My opinions have completely changed, I'm gonna become John Wick now/j 

But in all seriousness, this whole thing kinda rattled me. I've dealt with some gruesome scenes involving various animals, I've seen roadkill, I've had to dispose of dead animals and the works but this is different. When my dad came in with my injured dog, I wanted to go see if she was alright but then immediately backed out because I didn't want to see her hurt. I still don't want to look at her wounds and I didn't go with her to the vet. The blood on the floor was enough to upset me. 

Not that I blame the other dog that attacked her either. I know I made some John Wick jokes but I don't think the other dog was in the wrong. I didn't mention the breed of the dog that attacked my dog because it was a pit bull and pit bulls have that reputation. If I gave the breed away folks would say "of course, a pit bull attacked her" but I blame the owners. Pitbulls aren't inherently violent, they are trained that way and it hurts me when people assume all Pitbulls are violent.
