So many people, The vast majority actually, Are sad because they feel as if they grew up too fast. I fully understand this, Most people have felt it at some point.
The thing is that the whole reason we feel like we grew up to fast, or missed out or whatever is because we spent the whole time wanting to grow up.
Whatever happens, You felt like you were lacking at your age. No matter how small the thing might be. The reason you missed out is because you spent it all waiting for something, when it came you already had forgotten what you were hoping for.
Ridiculous.
And the thing is it just keeps happening, it happens to everyone no matter what people say. Nobody takes it serious when people say "Live your childhood, Greatest time of your life" Because it probably won't be the best time of your life, they just wish that they can stop yet another person from this pipeline.
It's not like it even ends in one persons timeline, i think it just reverses. You spend the time from five to maybe, thirty or so just waiting for what's to come. But after that, You waste all of your time reminiscing the past and what you missed. Then your life is over before you ever lived.
I saw this very wonderful poem once. I would consider it the full inspiration for this entry, it doesn't have a name that i could find but it's in a book called "Books close" By kori jane.
