Liminal(part 1?)

I really enjoy existing in the Liminal.

The Backrooms is not the only liminal place outside of reality. There are creatures in the Backrooms and a specific feeling to them. Here you can hardly find other people - only a few other wanderers.

I can also see the sky here, even though the moon is way too big to be our moon.

You can wander in there by mistake. If you take a wrong turn at some point and instead of turning around, you keep going forward there is a chance you’ll get there. It’s never certain that you’ll end up there, but enough mistakes and you’ll get there. At least, most people wander there by mistake. I usually go there on purpose.

It's not even about the air of this place or anything physical that I can find here. It's the feeling that you are in a place that wasn't made for humans to exist in. And in fact, no one exists there, unless they also chase after the same feeling. It's a feeling of freedom in a way that isn't achievable in any other way. The feeling that you are in a place you should never stay in.

There are also half-liminal places. Obviously housing estates etc. are made for humans, but you're not meant to spend your time there. You leave your car and go into your house, and that's everything that matters.

Being in most places says something about you just by the fact of you being there - like your room, school, or a bowling alley. But there are also many spaces that are meant to just be passed through and not to actually exist in. And if you try to exist in them, you enter the Liminal.
