Can we talk about "scenecore" music for a sec

Don't take what I say too seriously, at the end of the day I'm just some salty person on the internet with an opinion

Personally I think scenecore/hyperpop music fucking sucks like pardon me but it's literally just stolen instrumentals from already existing songs with the most god awful untalented vocals I have ever heard with the worst sound effects that just make the song absolutely unbearable. And even if you find a song that somehow isn't that bad , I can guarantee you the lyrics will be so disgusting and vile that it won't even matter anymore. 

The lyrics are just so openly gross and blatantly fetishise the scene/emo community so bad idk why any normal person would actually listen to them. Like tell me how many scenecore songs you know that don't have the words "scene slut" or anything about scene kids being "whores". It worries me because the scene subculture is mainly filled with teens and young adults and to say that the people in this subculture are all just sluts and to make everything about sex is absolutely disgusting, especially since so many scene kids are well you know MINORS. "Oh but the people behind those songs are also minors" THATS ALSO A BAD THING. Kids shouldn't be this sex obsessed, it's EXTREMELY unhealthy and damaging. "Oh but original scene songs are like this aswell" yes and no. Yes a lot of scene bands/artists made songs about sex and stuff like that, but not to the same extent. It's extremely obvious if you actually listen to real scene music that none of them are this bad. 

Not to mention the amount of people who think scenecore/hyperpop is actual scene music,  I'm not saying that if you listen to it you're not a real scene kid but if you don't listen to actual scene genres (crunkcore, happy hardcore, hardcore, pop punk etc) then you are simply a ✨poser✨. I don't decide what genres are scene and you don't either. Ik scene is a bit more fashion based than music based, but that doesn't mean music isn't a gigantic part of it. 

So basically kets4seki, m1v, 6arely human, kidsnorlax, horrormovies, heartcrush, rebzyxx, punkinloveee, horrormovies, souxie sixxsta, whatever scenecore stuff you listen to, it's not scene at all and there is nothing you and I can do about it. 

If you want some actual scene music recommendations then brockencyde , millionaires, s3rl, basshunter, pierce the veil are a few popular scene bands, but there is a whole world of scene/emo music for you to discover and I feel like there's no point in wasting your time on desperately trying to prove scenecore music is scene.
