can august be over

1123 as i write thursday or tuesday i do not know

my life has been hectic.

this new semester is apparently demented because i have professors that actually want students to learn, which i guess is good, but i’m also near dying because of my german classes so now i have to balance time and effort, and it sucks.

worse than that, i got into a relationship, kind of. the girl i had a date with (previously mentioned) is actually into me! good news because she is super cute, bad news because a relationship means i have to spend money and i hate spending money on anything that are not my books. she bought me a book, though, so i kind of owe it to her.

overall, life has been… not so bad. i only have to take public transportation four days of the week and sweat my calories out, but even then, it’s kind of enjoyable. so, not all is lost.

i’ve also been trying to learn how to read the tarot, which is kind of nice but also violently feeding my delusions—tarot, after all, can be interpreted however you like, so it’s obvious your subconscious is just twisting meaning to help you find some comfort. i think freud would’ve liked tarot cards and their stupidity.
