Your importance relies on others deeming you as important, without that you’re just another forgotten thought, you can’t stand the thought of that so you’re uncomfortable when someone thinks of you as just another idea like you are. Yet we are our own selves- our own individuals bound to the constructs that have made us our own beings, but that is not enough, you are hungry, you have desire, you do not feel whole even with the glass full, and so you cling to these silly philosophies that you do not have value unless others give you value. But then you are no longer human, you are a concept, an idea, a person cannot be replicated, but an idea absolutely can, you are no longer a person, just an idea, and you cling to it and let it consume you, no longer yourself- reliant on someone else's idea because an idea is much easier for others to have an opinion on, less risk, predictable, but by not risking by creating an actual identity will you ever find a true sense of belonging? To be human is to establish values and create ideas and meaning, to be an idea is to simply exist and adhere to whatever expectations and limitations that idea has until someone adds on to the idea. As an idea. without others- you are nothing- maybe you’re only interested in certain people because you don’t want to feel like β€œnothing” when they do not give you attention, that they do not maintain the idea for you to exist within, but you've spent so long dwelling in this that it has become you, single-faceted- lusterless.Β
