NEW FRIEND (pooltoy talk)

the amazing wonderful fantastic H20 GO FLASH AND SPLASH SEAL my first pooltoy purchased for the purpose of being a total furry about it.

he is HUGE and so freaking cute, so huggable, shiny and a handsome lad. i spent the entire night being a total nutcase over him. i understand why furry cons have panels just for snuggling pooltoys. my life is forever changed.

over last night i was thinking about how insane an interest this is at least for me. i've never really identified with the term objectum because i didn't think it suited me even though i've had objectum Tendencies ever since i was a kid. but as i thought over it, i really don't mind it. there's worse things to derive joy and pleasure from. i'm a little shy over those who would be like Omg u should be on my strange addiction!! but eh. i think there are more people who would find it simply amusing than Weird-in-a-bad-way.

i really hope that this hyperfixation persists long enough for me to get my Dream Pooltoy...

he is GIANT he's 7 feet long. or tall. idk. i would literally be unable to fit him in my room. but my god!!! he's just so unbelievably cute and i would actually be able to lay on it unlike the flash and splash seal which apparently can only handle 99 pounds. Unfortunately this thing comes from germany so shipping is 75 dollars to the US and its already ~$130, so i'm a long way off to owning it. i need my own space + disposable income + an electric pump lol. but he is so cute. Worlds Preciousest.

if you're a beginner pooltoy enjoyer like me and want something different than the intex orca but is still affordable, i got my flash n splash off ebay for $16, but you can opt to Not bid on it and get it off biglots for a still relatively cheap $18. he's so cute 💥💥💥💥💥

my advice tho is to give that beast a BATH!!!! for some reason all vinyl pool toys have this texture to them like they're dirty. just give them a bath in dish soap... the hugability will increase tenfold when you don't feel like there is a layer of chalk all over your palms.

don't ask me why both my favs are seals also. Actually, i prefer calling them sea lions cause sea lions are cooler, but they're listed as seals, go figure. pinnipeds are simply "in" with me right now. oh, and cetaceans. the intex orca is a classic but its very plain... may i direct your attention to

so now that i've gushed i'll leave the blog off with a sentiment i am embracing. Be Weird. like that sounds corny but just do it man. life is too short to not experience the ambrosia of pleasure that comes from the mundane or unusual. if you can, live unabashed and proud. there are 8 BILLION people on this earth, people who have done far stranger things than you ever will, and they too are a drop in the bucket. you are 1 weirdo out of 7,999,999,999 other weirdos. its freeing to realize we're all just kind of Like This and we all have our things that make us happy. i'm becoming a weird object guy, so be it. it brings me joy and i harm no one or myself through it. Maybe i harm my wallet a little.
