I'm engaged!
my long distance partner came to visit me this past weekend. since I'm bedbound, we just spent time sitting together, watching tiktoks, making pony bead bracelets, and cuddling. it was honestly so needed for both of us. just getting to be with them was the mood boost I needed for sure <3
Friday night, they pulled out a ring and I got so excited because I had a ring for them too! we had talked about getting engaged but hadn't specified when. but we had both bought rings and planned to propose during this visit! so sweet. they got me a moss agate ring and its absolutely lovely ^.^ they really do make me so happy.
I found out that I can get the genetics test that I've been needing, so I go to do that tomorrow! I'm so excited that my insurance is gonna cover it. for a long time I didn't think they would so this is a big step in the right direction!
despite still being bedbound, life is looking up for me. maybe we can start to get some answers soon if nothing else.
