One of the most underrated albums of all time...

You know Pink Floyd. Everybody and their mother either owns the album Dark Side of the Moon, or has something in reference to its album art. It's become the icon for the band, but it doesn't represent them properly.

The Wall is debated to be either the band's work, or just one man's. A little more argument can be made for Wish You Were Here.

However, the best representation of Pink Floyd is actually Meddle. Largely seen as a transitionary period for the band, moving from psychedelic rock to something more progressive, this album is most notable for its song Echoes, an over 20 minute long mystifying piece which starts by providing the audience aquatic imagery. This album, however, is also notable for a lesser-known detail: it may be the only album to feature songs written by every member of the band. As a result, being a mix of everybody's creative inputs, it is the best representation of the band as opposed to just showcasing select members.

Give the full album a listen. Echoes isn't the only brilliant track on it.
