I can't sit still

I take pills

To make me happy

So I don't get snappy

I feel numb

They think I'm dumb

Maybe it's true

Thinking thoughts I don't want to

Why do I try?

Not allowed to cry

Not allowed to feel

I wish this wasn't real

My sunshine's gone

I won't last long

But I still keep a smile

Just for a while

Maybe it's fake

Maybe I am a mistake.
