If you're anything like me, you procrastinate, or you tend to have short-term memory problems. Often this can lead you to less than favorable situations. Perhaps you missed something, perhaps you now have to cram and rush. Whatever the case may be, my advice to you is to use reminders or some sort of task tracking thing.
For a long time, I used Todoist to keep track of my current homework and such. This has proven to be a very useful, and I recommend it for that purpose. That being said, the feature of actual notification reminders is locked behind subscriptions, which vastly limits the practicality of this application, even if it is cross platform with PC and Phone. Also, as a third-party service, be wary on what you create there in fear of them storing that data.
If you don't want that, you can try out your built-in reminders and calendars within your email or phone itself. Yes, there may be some privacy concerns, but they're possibly better at keeping your data private. I use IOS reminders and a private email calendar for reference.
Anyways, that was me rambling about. This topic has been in my plans to write about for a while now, and I finally have the time and motivation to do it. Let me know what you think in the comments.
