Review
I have always had a passing interest in this book given my knowledge of Josh Peck as a part of Drake and Josh
and a few videos he made. Don't go into this book expecting a huge part
of it to be covering that phase. His stint on Nickelodeon isn't even a
quarter of his work. Instead we get a reflection and history on the life
of one of many child actors, and one of the few that managed to find a
good life beyond that. On that merit alone, this was a fun and
insightful read. It gave me more perspective and information on what
life beyond a child actor can be.
Overall Recommendation:
Not a must have, but its a good and interesting read if nothing else.
Its short too, so it wouldn't take too much of your time. Though with
any work, I'm sure you can get more out of it through slower readings or
re-reads.
Buy it or Borrow It?: I borrowed a hard copy of
this book, and given my level of interest, I would say to only buy if
you really like or are interested in the person behind it, and
specifically the person.
