hello, I am once again high and am putting my thoughts on the internet
it's so strange how we replaced our human need for socialization with the internet. we gather in forums, servers, chatrooms and messenger mechanisms to sustain our need for interaction. i think it's a good thing, we are branching out and finding things and people we otherwise wouldn't have known. however, i wanna know what life would have been like without it. how would a generation that grew up with technology define themselves without it? how would gatherings work, how would that affect what we've changed, so on and so forth.
the question that stands out to me the strongest is how the absence of the internet would pertain to incels and all others aligned with them. if you think about it, they are a group that mainly resides in the internet and on news channel headlines (mainly bc they're known for their acts of unaliving people). their entire world consists of incels.is, r/foreveralone, and the elliot rodger youtube channel (thank you wayback machine). from what I can gather, their world seems to turn off the second they shut down their computer. if the internet didn't exist, would they be as harmful as they are now?
incels have existed since the beginning, no doubt. ever since the fall of the dinosaurs and what the fuck else was going on during that time, there have been creepy dudes who lack feminine attention. "losers", "dweebs", and others akin have always done horrible things because they can't get da puss. incels started documenting their shenanigans and manifestos, spreading this shit like wildfire. maybe if the internet wasn't a thing then the whole issue of men unaliving people en masse because of "societal rejection" would die down a little.
I'm gonna cut that off there
