Fear

I'm so scared of balloons popping and it's such a stupid fear, why couldn't I be afraid of heights or spiders instead like I feel like an idiot for having this fear, I've locked myself in bathrooms at parties because I was so terrified and for something so stupid too. I'm also scared of frogs, some people find them cute but just looking at one makes me squirm. My fear of frogs is also really dumb, I remember walking with my friends and I saw one and shrieked like a child. My friends tease me about but they'd never try to scare me and they even help me out when I come across these things like they try to calm me down or distract me. Some of my family members aren't as kind, I remember when I was younger my family kept joking about getting a pet frog and even my little cousin made fun of my fear of balloons once and just recently my sister was using a bag of balloons to scare. It's just pathetic, you know. Like I understand a fear of heights or the dark but balloons and frogs, that's pathetic, it makes no sense. Maybe I'm just a snowflake but honestly, I don't care, I like comfort and my life is difficult enough without having to worry about my fears. 

I atleast feel better knowing that jerma feels the same way about balloons and also Alice Cooper of Alice in Chains is also scared of balloons or atleast the rubbery sound that they make so you can't argue with Alice in chains
