distant skies

As the sun sets, the stars take over the night sky

looking past the constellations, all I see is a faded star amongst many stars in the night sky

wondering how I can run past the dark clouds

avoiding the countless stars in the sky,

I run towards the small light,

as the sunrise indicates a new day,

forgetting the memory of the distant stars
