Do People Even Read Blogs????

first blog post is about blog post lol.

so something I've wondered for a while now is: do people actually read blog post? like really. people don't even read youtube descriptions and everyone's got the attention span of a goddam 2 year old. so like who the hell's taking like 20 minutes out of their to read some long ass post made by some stranger on the internet? really, who's doing that?

i think the concept of blogging is so silly. like, why the hell do people do this? i started a blog over on dreamwidth like a month ago and literally no one interacts with it but i still make post over there. WHY???? i have no clue. i just like to talk (well, type) and rant about the thing i really like. i guess that's the basic answer for other people too. but still, some people's blog post are like hella long. its so funny because i'm the type of person to write one of those extremely long blog post but wouldn't even get halfway through someone else's. i just skim through them.

what is even the point of blogs? like casual blogs like this specifically? i understand having a blog about a spoecific thing but like what is this for? do you just talk about your day like its a fuckin diary???? i dont know. honestly i only made a spacehey because it feels cool having one. also i didnt get to experience myspace or the art of creating your own horribly looking website in the early 2010's, so i'm doing it now because the 2020's really suck. current year sucks. everyone is stupid and nothing is fun anymore. i dont feel like continuing this because its kinda late and im running out of things to talk about. yeah. blogs and stuff.
