mindful may day 9 bit of a gap there innit

guess whos been flopping and guess whos shocked. nobody. im on the couch with suki right now after a long night of CLEANING!!!! Ive been going at it since i got home from work. I tidied the rec room and finally conquered part 1 of my laundry situation. to sum it up, the first problem of my laundry situation that ive shared with the masses is the giant pile of laundry in the corner of my chamber. its gotten so tall its more than half the size of my laundry bin itself. im going to go take some of that for a wash at one of my kind besties places whenever it’s convenient. so this problem is a bit easier to figure out, because besides getting a giant bag of laundry across town, washing laundry itself is a relatively simple task. BUT! the real monster is my clean laundry, believe it or not. for the past month or so almost all of my clean laundry has been held in a laundry hampar at the foot of my bed. so whenever i wanted to pick and outfit, id have to dig through this beastly pile of clean laundry that just never stopped growing. and today, i beat the final boss. i folded ALL of my clean laundry and reorganized it into my new storage dresser and my well loved under bed storage containers. it was so exciting folding everything and realizing how many fun pieces i actually have. no wonder i was having a bit of a freak out about my body and my wardrobe considering i basically had to dig to the core of the earth to put clothes i liked on everyday. im feeling really good right now that i got that done because having my space even a little bit more in order makes me feel more in order! i’ve had a fun and eventful past few days, yesterday i had delicious dinner with my baes and played at the park. swung so high on the swings i couldve jumped into the sky…….. at work today we had cinco de mayo festivities and they brought a food truck there and we all got tacos and nachos and sweets galore. they do a lot of company activities and its sweet to see a workplace that seems to care about their employees. ive never worked somewhere that does stuff on that level. after that i got to absolutely decimate 3 pairs of brand spankin new jeans for a glorified art project which is one of the most fun things ive ever gotten to do at work. it feels so satisfying to cut and rip and destroy jeans u guys should try it (just kidding). feeling thankful for love in all of its forms as usual and right now, particularly the love i have for my little daughter cat suki. cant believe ive mothered a child for over 2 years. her gotcha day was a week ago today!!!! :’-) happy may guys
