Concerts I've been to!!!

1. (I will save this one to the end - it's a long story)...

2. Tennant's vital - 25/8/16

Ngl I can barely remember this concert at this point but I do have a few memories! I remember that my little emo self wore a red flannel, fall out boy shirt and a ying and yang choker, my favourite ripped jeans and my black vans?? (more like plimsole shoes) THAT WERE LITERALLY MY SCHOOL SHOES AT THE TIME LMAOOO. I was trying my best okay...

(biblically accurate reenactment of what I was wearing - this is such a crazy embodiment of 2016 "emo trinity" core i cannot physically handle it)

Anyways, I remember that me and my mum were able to trick a security guard into sneaking me into the pit (like the very front that you have to buy special tickets for) because I 'couldn't see' but really I just wanted to see fob in HD.

Whilst in the pit, a woman approached me and asked "do you like fall out boy??" and my autistic ass thinking she was trying to bond with me because she also liked them I went "YESSS OMG WHATS UR FAV SONG" but she just went... "if you stand over to the right you'll be less likely to get kicked out before they come on" and so that we did.

When they came on stage I jumped up and down and tears literally welled up in my eyes cuz I was so excited... I think I stomped on my mother's foot as well by accident.

They were pretty phenomenal and I still have a few videos from it that I forced my mother to take while I screamed my heart out.

The RHCP also played that day (they were the main act) but I had little interest in them at the time cuz I was rly only there for FOB. I still did like them though, I just didn't know many songs! Can't stop was and still is my jam though (first song I played at my notorious 8th birthday).

When we left it rained like cats and dogs and my feet hurt dreadfully, but it was truly amazing!

3. Pierce the Veil - 4/12/16

This one is also a pretty vague recollection but I remember I was painfully hype for this one. Again I must create a biblical rerceation of my swag-fit:

(I thought I was absolutely the sickest emo boy AROUND for this one...)

This time, my sister and her friend came with me (they were 6 years older than me). When I got into the place I was pleased with how small the venue was (I prefer intimate venues) but it was so crazy loud like I couldn't hear a word being said to me by ears were bursting in half...

One thing I do remember which is hilarious: I went to take a photo of the stage before any of the bands were playing and the dude right in front of me just HAPPENED to be turned around to face my direction at the time I was taking this stupid photo... and my flash went off. He acc looked flabbergasted and it was the worst moment of my life...

I also deleted the photo like seconds after cuz I was so embarrassed (I wish I had kept it now).

Another memory: I was like, in the height of my trans-dysphoria phase (when I had long hair :( ) so I stuffed all my hair up into that batman hat to make it look like it was short... but that was a big time issue when I started jumping around and clumps of hair were falling out omg it was so bad.... Also I think someone tried to steal my hat too LMAOOO

Another thing: at this point in my concert-attending career I did not know that encores existed... so after religiously studying the setlist I was SHOCKED at them not playing King for a Day like proper offended. I was like half way out the door when that sweet sweet riff started playing and I actually screamed and ran back into the crowd

Anyways it was SO FREAKING GOOD 11/10 I wish I had moshed more though.

4&5. Rat Boy (Twice) - 10/2/18 and 11/18/18:

10/2/18:

I CANT FIND ANY VIDEOS OF THE OTHER ONE :(

These concerts were pretty wild...

10/2/18:

(this is an absolute struggle outfit.... pls)

I really only have vague recollections of this one... i remember while waiting in line I was intimidated by all the cool people and there was this really annoying couple making fun of everyones outfits. I was up on the balcony seating area and it was kinda giving me vertigo but it was SO much fun. I was so obsessed w this band.

11/18/18:

(I was going through a weird era... ok)

This one was a lot more eventful than the one I went to earlier in the year. When we were waiting in line, we were approached by Vice magazine and my sister got her picture snapped LOL the article is still out there and everything. Im in it but i turned away from the camera so i wouldnt be seen lol. In there, it was a small intimate venue which i adoreddd and the warm-up acts were acc amazinggg. They're pretty famous now acc :0 BUT I HAVE PERSONAL BEEF WITH ONE OF THE WARM UPS.... maybe ill detail this another day but its hilarious.

Anyways I ended up 1. losing my SHOE and later finding out that it flew over the guardrail and hit a security guard before being thrown back into the crowd where i ended up finding it again, 2. my hat was stolen and passed around the crowd before coming back to me.

I ended up meeting one of my long-distance friends there at the very end of the concert and it was acc AMAZINGGG we ran into a hug and it was very perfect, but he had to leave pretty fast. I remember thinking he was shorter in real life (which acc made me develop a crush on him later HAHA its a long story) but when I left i was criminally thirsty and slammed 2 bottles of mcdonalds water before venturing home.

6. Stormzy (20/7/19)

I pretty much went to this one for my mother but it was actually a really great atmosphere, i got like right up against the barrier and stormzy has wonderful stage presence. My mum ended up losing me at the end because i stuck around to see if he'd come out for an encore LOL. This was also the first time i got properly drunk (dont tell anyone) XD

7. King Gizzard and the Lizard Wizard (5/10/19)

This concert was acccc awesomeee, there was a really cool waiting area outside the concert with a bunch of food stalls and me and my sister got some halloumi (I FUCKING LOVE HALLOUMI) and some other snacks before we were allowed in. The concert itself was madness, very crowded and sweaty but still very wonderful. One thing I DIDNT THINK ABOUT HOWEVER was how fucking WARM it would be (peep the outfit bro... what a mistake). Also i kept losing my phone cuz i realised i had no sensible pockets. very silly on my part. I was also w my friend (mentioned above) and some of his friends but IDK HOW but i ended up losing them instantly at the start of the concert and only getting reunited with them like a few minutes before it ended lmao. This was a similarly dehydrated affair and i slammed some water before leaving.

8. MCR BABYYYYYY!!!! (24/5/22)

I made a blog entry all about this one so check it out if u want all the juicy deets.

1. Finally,,, the infamous first concert...

This may have been one of the worst and (in hindsight) most hilarious days of my life. I was around 8 years old and went with my mum and sister. I have been TOLD that both Luke Friend and Jedward from X factor (at the time) were playing but i SWEAR TO GOD i cannot find evidence that this concert even happened anywhere on the internet.

Anyways, so when I arrived there I had like the worst headache of my life from the blistering sun so I was generally pretty uncomfortable and grouchy.. I ended up forcing my mum to leave with me to go to the park a little while away from the concert and we found that the gates were locked but they were small enough for me to be able to jump over them - so i did!! However, when it came time to leave I somehow lost the ability to jump over these gates and got stuck for like actually 20 minutes until my mum flagged down some passerby and this dude had to hoist me over the gate LMFAOOOO.

Anyways so when we got back to the concert to meet up w my sister I was using this portapotty that isnt like the regular small ones it was like a mega portapotty that you could walk around in and WHILE I WAS FUCKING SITTING THERE these kids started kicking on the side of the portapotty and it started fucking tipping over and i was just sitting there like holy shit.. if this falls over rn i will be covered in fucking toilet water...

THANKFULLY it never actually fell over but when i went out i realised my mother had just allowed this to happen fs.

Anyways, this wasnt the best first concert experience ever, in fact id say it was one of the worst. THAT DIDNT STOP ME FROM GOING TO MORE THO (hashtag follow ur dreamz).

I didnt include gigs or anything, but if youd want a blog specifically on those id be happy to do that XD
