writepril day 10 toilet talk

hitting that writepril day 10 from the john baby. the shitter.  i told my kate i would write it as soon as she left and i didnt lie. today is another late entry cause ive been out and about since 8:30 this morning! i went back to work after 4 days off and i was so not excited when i woke up but its always a bit harder to get back into it after a lot of time off. today at work was fun though! i was at the warehouse which im not normally i am usually an office gal. but we had to reprice a bunch of sample returns from nordstrom because theyre closing in canada so everyone from the office came to the warehouse to do an assembly line of repricing. i like monotonous repetitive tasks when i work especially when i can just be in my own head so i liked that but it was also just nice to mingle and be around people from the office that i don’t normally work with. its a nice little community there and as much as i stick out in terms of my age and general demeanour all of my coworkers are really nice to me and i can tell they put effort into making me feel comfortable. around 11 this morning we had a break in the assembly line to wait for more stickers to print and more samples to be picked, so everyone went for an early lunch but i had already planned to have lunch with my mom at 12 when i usually have lunch and the guy in charge of the warehouse told me to just wait and go at 12. that was really sweet cause i got to sit outside for 45 mins before my mom got there and then we went to easterbrooks together. its a hot dog place that has been around since 1930 and they kept the interior all the same. awesome place. it meant a lot to me that my mom took me out for lunch on her one day off because id assume shed want to rest but she still drove me to work in the morning, took me to lunch and picked me up after my shift. i like that she shows the way she cares in super tangible ways. after i got back the team ended up finishing work at 3:30 which was way earlier than we expected so i got to leave early and i was so happy about that because i made plans to see my lovely friends kate and maia and skyler. sadly pookie couldnt make it because she had dad reservation. but we had a lovely time sitting by the lake at paletta mansion and kate and i watched maia and skyler play cards while talking about plans for the medieval party and whatever other autistic shit. then we went to the park near my house and played grounders and it was epic and most of us peed our pants from laughing. we went back to mine after and played a couple rounds of president and then played talking points on jackbox. overall really fun and lovely way to spend the night, i love hanging out with my friends and the warm weather makes me appreciate how beautiful it is to get to have such awesome friends that i love and get to experience life with. the spring has been bringing out a lot of feelings actually. maybe ill get more into that in another writepril cause ive already rambled but i had a really lovely day today so i have a lot to say! thank u to my fwiends kate and pookie for always reading and interacting love u twosies
