writepril day 9 floating around

its easter! but i have felt so absent today you could have fooled me. sometimes being distracted is the best thing i can do for myself when i get in a little funk and sometimes i feel such a disconnect between my mind and body that the distraction mutes out periodically. the past little while i have been so consumed by everything going on in my own head that i have trouble focusing in on whats around me. its overall fine though. i just float around. today i floated to my grandmas for easter dinner and you have to take the highway there which is almost like floating. i wouldnt be surprised if cars weren’t touching the ground. we got there and talked and ate and it is always nice to see family even if i am in and out of presence in the moment. we went on my grandmas deck to smoke for a bit and it was so warm i had to take my coat off. i love it. and then we floated back home in maias car and on the way brendan told a story about how he had to bike on the side of the 401 once in the opposite direction of traffic. just thought that was worth mentioning i hope it creates the same image in someone elses mind. got home and sat outside till my toes got cold and i’ve eaten so much chocolate. also forgot to mention i did an easter egg hunt. didnt realize my mom still did them because ive been away from home for 3 years and it was a happy surprise. Easter special out <3 love u guys

A little absentmindedness never hurt nobody. Gotta get brendan to elaborate on the 401 story next time u see him its a pretty wild tale <3
