when we ended i was told congrats. you were told that i was the monster. your friends congratulated me. my friends congratulated me. all along it was you. you made me think i was nothing but your trophy. i was a placeholder for you so you could survive on the brink of loneliness. when you call me and my family to make sure im alive, its just you caring. when i text your mother who i called my mom i am a monster.when i text you and someone i thought was my friend i get called crazy. the difference between me and you is that i feel my emotions instead of cloud them. i let myself be sad so i could build myself up. you stayed in the same spot with the others while i crossed the finish line. congratulations, stay in your pod and deny any nutrients. i will be across the field growing the most beautiful cherry blossoms for everyone to enjoy. i will be cheering you on silently when you finally figure out how to grow a root.
