writepril day 4

look at me writing everyday. feeling pretty huge about it. Noticed the ladies havent written today and normally they beat me to it so i decided to fill the writepril void on my lunch break. i like having an hour of lunch, ive had 15 and 30 minute breaks at other jobs before but they never really felt long enough and to me an hour feels perfect. enough time to eat without stuffing my face, watch a little show or youtube or whatever, sometimes even make time for a little writing or texting with friends. right now i am sitting in the gazebo writing this. i like the gazebo at my work because i come out here to smoke and im really the only person who comes out. theres one guy in marketing upstairs who comes out for cigarettes but he usually just stands on the stoop and we give eachother an understanding nod as i pass him to come back to the gazebo. there is just something magical about a little place in nature to sit. like a porch or a bench or a playground. it somehow feels still out here even though im next to the highway. i really didnt wanna wake up for work today but its never as hard as it seems while youre still in bed. so i got up and now im here with 3 and a half of the hours of my shift done. how sweet. very much looking forward to getting home and smoking some weed. i really wanna try and clean my room and do laundry today cause i flopped on it all weekend but im never too hard on myself. maybe i should be harder. i miss my friends a lot on the days i work, especially after a friend filled weekend like the one just past. but i am just happy thinking about all the joy still to come. distance makes the heart grow fonder anyway or whatever they mean by that. gonna head back in and eat a greek salad now. as a wise really normal girl once said, “i like that shit, that shit tastes so good.” have a lovely tuesday and blowing kisses to my friends and comforting shoulder pats to all the spaceheyers out there that arent my friends. gotta have boundaries <3 hickey haver out
