i know i’m your drug 

those heatwaves and dopamine 

cant sweat it all off

did we ever even date or was it all an act

of all these lovers

i know i was your best 

i know how you yearn for me when he kisses your neck

look at me baby i’m what you sought

honey i’m a fever you can’t ever sweat out

trying to breathe though these sweat soaked sheets

everything he does just reminds you of me

i’m still in your mind 

bet i’m your only thought 

i bet in that bed you can’t remember what he’s got

picked him over me that’s fine i guess

but it’s only me you think of sliding out of that dress

cant even look him in the eyes without a glimpse of me

quietly yearning

hope it was worth it

i’ve starting to move on

i bet it makes you sick knowing i’m already gone

under these neon lights 

love flows and blooms

too bad none of it seemed to get you

let the world pass by
