What we don't have

I miss the way internet was when I was little. The way it could have been.

I'm finally able to type a blog entry via an actual desktop computer as opposed to a smartphone. I don't have a compter at the moment and I won't be able to get one for quite a while. Even if I do, I am unable to get internet where I live.

I live about 7 minutes outside of town and they don't offer internet there, but the offer internet 15 minutes outside of town the other way. I'm much closer to city limits than the other location I'm referring to.

oh well, i guess.

i'm just online complaining and about what? politics? america going to shit and i'm being blamed for it because of my age, my identity, my religion, the way i choose to express myself?

i'm so frustrated and upset.

i wish it was feasible to go back to a flip phone, but our world today is so dependant on the internet and smartphones. i don't have access to a library, so i have no other way of going on the internet besides my phone or visiting my mother and using her computer while she's out.

Sometimes I do wish that the internet and all that would be less central to just existing than it is these days. I also have a bit of yearning for the color/liveliness of the early internet where it was moreso in the individual's hands
