I Know The Key To Fame...(03/21/2023)

Okay, so I've been looking at the similarities between Lady Gaga and Lana Del Rey. Call me fucking crazy but I'm saying this right now bitch!

Okay, so, Lana started out with her actual name, so did Gaga. However, Gaga went by a stage name okay. Lana kept the name Lizzy Grant for a long time. So, Gaga is performing in bars and singing and playing her piano. Lanz is playing her guitar sometimes. But then, Gaga is making her record and her theme is being famous. She's already acting like a superstar before anyone even knows her name. Lana doesn't do this though. Then, Gaga gets a number one song and then boom she is truly famous. Lana didn't get her first hit until 2012 but for Gaga this all happened in 2008, and it happened so fast because of a persona and her just acting super famous.

In 2012 though, Lana changes her name, then she creates her album and gets a hit...sort of. She's not world famous or anything though because they dug up her past and it kind of got to her. She didn't wanna be famous anyway. She still got a label and a hit and people liked her enough for her to keep making music. And to this day she is headlining shows and stuff now.

Let's talk about the discography though. Their albums have similar themes even though Lana is talking way more about being insanely in love with this one person.

They have:

An album talking about being famous before they even are.

An EP on the brink of realizing they are famous and what it entails.

An album talking about their life before and (for Lana) the realization of how it was before without rose tinted glasses.

An album accepting their past struggles and being who they are (albums also hated).

Lastly, albums just doing whatever they want (not to say Gaga wasn't doing what she wanted before) and having fun making music.

Lana just started later and had all of this past stuff that was criticized and she was doing something never been done before at the time, with her vintage aesthetic and everything.
