Green eyes

But mine are blue and yours are red

Mine are blue 

full of carefully hidden sorrow.

Yours are red

filled with a love me for so deep it hurts me.

Mine are blue

trying so desperately to hide the fact that I am drowning in them.

Your eyes are red

the same color as your heart.

When you look deeply into my eyes it’s like you’re trying to connect not only our hearts but our souls, because you love me so that you want to carry my blue eyed burden too.
