My favorite licensed video-game soundtracks

Basically when a game has music that wasn't necessarily composed for it.

Jet Set Radio and Jet Set Radio Future - Yeah yeah, most of the songs were made by Hideki Naganuma specifically for the game but hey, they had songs from artists like Guitar Vader, Cibo Matto, bis and Scapegoat Wax that were released before the games so it counts.

Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 1 and Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 2 - Hell yeah, more extreme sports! Most of the songs in these games are punk rock songs and they're all fantastic and fit the game perfectly.

GTA Vice City and GTA San Andreas - Ok, to be fair I don't listen to all of the radio stations from these games but man, do they both have an amazing soundtrack. From the new wave music from Vice City's Wave 103 to the early 90s alternative rock from San Andreas' Radio X.

Pro Evolution Soccer 2011 - Ok, hear me out on this one. I have a lot of nostalgia for this game and I don't deny that's definitely one of the reasons why I like this OST so much. But PES introduced me to a lot of artists that I'd probably never heard of. 2011 specifically has bands like Crystal Castles, Vampire Weekend and Phoenix and even non-english songs like 50Milla and L'inferno from the italian singer Nina Zilli. This game has a great soundtrack with songs from different genres, it's definitely worth a listen even if you don't like football(or any sport even).

Anyway I just wanted to share my opinion with someone and this website seems perfect for this.
