Doing movie teen things

ok ok, so long story short I'm 17 and homeschooled so I never really got to do fun high school teenage things... Until today >:3

So I don't have very many friends but I am very thankful for the ones I do have. So I've got this abandoned convent near me that my friend and I wander around (we've never gone in cuz 1. it's scary af, and 2. the doors are always locked.)

 So we're doing our normal walk around the building, but a bunch of the doors to the side buildings were open?! we peeked inside or whatever closed the doors and headed to the main building to look in the windows like normal... Until we noticed one of the doors was open. OBV we wanna go in but that's scary af so after a round of eeny meeny mini moe it was decided we would go in. I would like the council to know I do believe in ghosts but as we walked in I was more scared of some nutso stabbing us than any ghost. (there were no nutsos)

(So I was born and raised roman catholic and my friend was not)

the funniest thing that happened (in my opinion)  was as we walked into the cathedral,my friend got SO excited bout the stained glass and marble. it was beautiful but I guess I didn't think much about it yk. 

we kept walking around and had to keep our jackets pulled over our noses cuz there was sm mold and lead. It was kinda creepy and my friend kept talking bout how it reminded them of the game  nun massacre XD

As we treaded on we made our way to the third floor...I really wasn't that scared until we got up to the third floor. It was like, horrifying but I honestly can't explain why. We just both felt SICK. Like, stomach dropping and chest hurting. We silently looked at each other and turned around the left /gen.

(Also for context my mother used to work here way back before they closed)

FLASHFORWARD we're talking to my mom, and turns out the third floor is where they kept the older nuns (a lot of em died up there) Also one of the nuns would scream about satan being in her room and my mother said she "100% believed her"

anyway so that's my story of getting freaked tf out in an old convent
