and i’d never date you again

but i still think about what it would be like

to see you in a suit walking up to my front door

taking you to my prom

introducing you to all of my friends

doing silly dances in your arms

even if it wasn’t romantic anymore

even if it wasn’t a date

even if i don’t love you anymore

even if you will never love me again
