Spring Break!

Spring Break is almost here! I have plans to get a lot of work done over break, getting ahead in a bunch of assignments and planning for my Capstone presentation. How much of that planning I'll actually get done is yet to be seen, but hopefully I can be successful. Tomorrow I plan on taking my driver's exam and applying for some DEP summer internships, just in case I get denied for the internship I interviewed for last week.

I also plan on hanging out with a good friend of mine over break. We want to hang out downtown, get some pizza and maybe check out the antique store. I miss hanging out with him and can't wait to see him again! It's been forever since we visited this pizza place (it's local, too, not a chain!) and it's sooo good. Maybe we'll even get some ice cream from a different local shop. On Thursday we plan to go out hiking on the trail we're familiar with, but if it's too muddy we'll take an adventure on one we've never been to before. It's always so fun to hike with him, even if my stamina is kinda shit. 

I'm a bit sad to be away from my partner for a week, but we'll both survive. Next semester he won't be on campus anymore and it's going to be so painful then. My last LDR went rather poorly (and it wasn't even long distance, really; we just didn't have a way to travel to see each other at the time), so I'm scared about him moving back to his home state. I hope we can last long enough to move in together someday. I wouldn't mind moving to his state, even if it means being far away from family. I'd be safer there as a queer person. 

I'm excited for break. I hope I can be as productive as I want to be.
