the whole gimmick of the Nintendo switch is that it's a console you can play on the tv or handheld. that's why it's called the switch. because it switches between handheld and docked mode. the switch lite removes the ability to dock it. at that point, it's not a switch. call that shit a Nintendo Inactive
now i understand why someone would buy a switch lite. maybe they're a little tight on money but wanna get something nice for their kid or maybe they know they'll never use the docked mode. however, once the "joycons" on the lite start drifting, you can't replace them. i know nintendo offers a service to get the drifting fixed but it'll start drifting again after a few weeks and the only solution is to get the controller/joycons replaced. not be to dramatic but if I had a switch lite that started drifting I'd black out and wake up in a holding cell with fifteen charges of aggravated assault

lol yeah i understand. i have one but only cause me and my family like to try and get at least 1 of every nintendo console as a collection thingy, and the switch lite isnt that bad. it cant connect to the tv and the controllers might drift but me personally, i like using pro controllers more anyways and they also made a docking station so the lite can be played on the tv. so the whole console is practically useless but its still cute lol
